Last week, I had the chance to go to a football event here at UC. It was "Women's Football 101" and all of the proceeds went to the Barrett Cancer Research Center. The event gave us a chance to see the football facilities and learn a little about the game. I enjoyed it so much more than I was expecting. The football coaches actually coached us through different drills (throwing, catching, hitting the tackling dummy, kicking field goals). Surprisingly, I made the field goal! We also had the chance to talk to the new UC football coach, Butch Jones....and I got him to sign a football for me! :) Looking forward to football season now!!!
and Lucy the Bearcat was there!!
